The Portland Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers reportedly have agreed to swap draft picks.
Portland would send guards Jarrett Jack and Brandon Rush - the 13th selection in the draft - along with forward Josh McRoberts to Indiana for forward Ike Diogu and guard Jerryd Bayless - the 11th pick in the draft.
A key component in the Jayhawks' run to a national title, Rush averaged at least 13.3 points during each of his three seasons in college. He scored 25 points in Kansas' national semi-final win over North Carolina.
If the deal goes through, Brandon will join his brother Kareem Rush, who scored 8.3 points in 71 games - 15 starts - for the Pacers last season.
With the departure of Jack, Bayless should become the Blazers' starting point guard next season. The freshman guard, who has been favorably compared to Gilbert Arenas, averaged 19.7 points in his lone collegiate season at Arizona.
Jack averaged 9.9 points and 3.8 assists for the Blazers last season, his third with the team.
McRoberts, who was drafted in the second round by Portland last year, played in just eight contests, scoring 1.5 points per game.
Diogu scored 5.6 points per game for the Pacers last season.
Portland also completed a trade first reported on Wednesday, acquiring the rights to forward Darrell Arthur - the number 27No. 27 pick) - from the New Orleans Hornets for cash considerations.
The Detroit Pistons also have reportedly dealt DJ White - the 29th pick - in the draft to the Seattle SuperSonics for the rights to the 32nd and 46th picks. The 32nd selection was Alabama-Birmingham forward Walter Sharpe and Brigham Young forward Trent Plaisted went at number 46.
